How much did you pay for your laptop computer?

Prices of laptop computers have gone down a lot these days. When i bought mine last year, i had to pay about 4k in order to get one with decent specifications. Now, i can get one for around 2k. Of course, higher priced ones will have better specifications.

In my opinion, i'd rather buy a cheap laptop computer and change it every two years. Who wants to be stuck with using the same laptop for years on end. Moreover, technology moves too fast and whatever you buy today will be out-dated in less than a year's time.
