The dark street is bothering me

The street lamp right outside our house is fuse and the street is dark at night. We're so used to having a brightly lit street and all of a sudden, i feel insecure in all this darkness surrounding me. I told hubby we'd better go get some brand new exterior lighting till the street lamp comes back on. We do out every once in a while at night, you know. It can get scary to see shadows lurking around. Geee... i sure hate to get pounced on by a burglar.... choi choi choi...
