MyBlueDish - Satellite internet

Hubby travels to rural areas a lot. And everytime, he has the same complaint when he comes back. "Slow internet access". Well, i cannot blame him since he's been pampered with broadband. Moreover, he needs to get things done fast. He does a lot of uploading and downloading of huge image and presentation files. And with dial-up, it takes ages to complete a single upload. But, all that's available to him is dial-up. No cable or DSL at all.

I've heard of Satellite Internet, and i know that it's suitable for those living in rural areas. Satellite internet is not better than cable or DSL, but if given the choice, i'd go for it. At least it's much better than dial-up anytime. If i'm not wrong, it's about 30 times much faster than your normal dial-up lines. With satellite internet, you do not need a phoneline. It's always on, always available to you.

WildBlue Satellite Internet offers you high speed internet access over satellite to virtually everywhere in the U.S.! Imagine “always on”, lightning fast connections to the Internet. No more delays. No more dialing in. No more wondering if high speed internet will arrive in your area. Get connected the way you've always wanted to: fast.

It's like having broadband anywhere. With a much smaller dish nowadays. Affordable and easy to use. All you need to do is to plug the WildBlue satellite modem into a wall outlet as well as to the satellite dish. Then, plug your computer into the Ethernet port on the back of the satellite modem. Turn on your computer and your internet connection is on. Without any idle disconnects, your service is always-on and available 24-7.
