Eat foods high in enzymes

Papaya has a considerable quantity of enzymes. By eating papaya and other foods containing enzymes, we can avoid overworking the pancreas. The pancreas produces juices needed in digestion. It also produces insulin, needed to control blood sugar.

Insufficient ingestion of natural foods, combined with excessive use of foods requiring large amounts of pancreatic secretions, such as white bread and sugar, causes the pancreas to work overtime and to become disabled and underproduce the necessary juices. Insufficient enzymes are said to cause degenerative diseases.
