Cut down on sugar

Too much sugar can suppress the immune system by reducing the ability of white blood cells to kill germs. Avoid eating junk food and processed food that are high in sugar content. Read the food label for added sweeteners in food such as fructose, maltose, lactose, and corn syrup.

Do you know that 4 grams of sugar in a serving of food is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar? So, do read food labels carefully and keep count of how much sugar you are ingesting on a daily basis. Do not opt for "fake-sugars" like aspartame. Does "Equal" sounds familiar to you?. Does more harm than good to your body. Instead, you can substitute sugar with "Stevia", a great-tasting natural sweetener.
