MIL wants teak wood patio furniture

There were some teak furniture on promotion at the mall. Hubby and i went to take a look at it. MIL wanted some new patio furnitures. I liked what they have on display but did not make any purchase. Would rather take MIL along the next day so she can pick what she likes.

Back home, i ran a search on Teak Wood Patio Furniture and came up with some interesting info. This company, BeFurnished, brings the alloy and teak design to the United States. They are one of the first companies in the United States to introduce such a design. I found that Tectona Grandis or common teak is used by manufacturers of outdoor furniture and outdoor surfaces like boat decks because of its durable texture and its resistance to adverse weather conditions. It has been used by shipbuilders for centuries and now it can be found in millions of homes. No wonder MIL specifically wanted Teak furniture for the patio.

BeFurnished, uses teak wood exported directly from Indonesia. The new alloy design is made with 304 stainless steel, so rust and corrosion will never be a problem. Wow, i sure like what they have on their website. If only they have a dealer over here in Malaysia. I'm sure MIL wouldnt have a problem choosing a set for herself. You can find more information about indonesian outdoor teak furniture at Befurnished.com.
