GEEEZZZZ... I'm married to a packrat
With a good 10 days all to myself (5 days left), there's plenty to do to keep me busy. The first being to cleanup the guest room. Being in a product based industry, we have tons of products coming into our hands for testing and reviewing. All awaiting green light from us.
Being married to a pack rat certainly do not make living any easier. The last time i cleaned that room was two days before Malcolm was due. That'd be 4th July 2006. Since then, it has accumulated tons of carton boxes, plastic bags, polystyrene foam cubes, brochures, pamphlets, various products, etc. Not to mention dust and dunno what else.
Hubby comes home late. So, he'll just leave the things on the bed, floor or just anywhere convenient. The room's a complete mess. Moreover, the roof above the room is leaking and i'll be damned if those things in there got wet. My huge wedding picture which i took down from the living room's wall was on the floor near the small puddle of water from the leaking roof. Shud anything happens to it, hah.... good. Me go take another batch.
Well, now's the best time to clean, pack and discard.... especially the "discard" part. I simply love doing that in hubby's absence. No more incoming stuffs, only outgoing. No need to ask, just pack up and throw. At least now i can find space to put new stuffs when new goods arrive.
Most of the items have now been boxed up and stacked up nicely. Floor vacuumed and mopped. Bedsheets changed and washed, comforter also. The only thing remaining is to clean out the wardrobe and iron all his shirts. Hubby keeps buying so many clothes that there's simply not enough space to put them. But now, damn tired liao.
More to keep me busy tomorrow. Lets see what i can find in there.
