Come view Malcolm's new vest
I finished this last week. Did not put it up as hubby was hogging the pc day and night. He's very busy lately and since i'm not helping much, might as well not bug him. I'm now working on a new knitted vest for Gordon. My tension and gauge are back on track and i can now knit in my usual lightning speed again. But i'm not in a hurry to finish anything. Just knit as a form of relaxation.
Two weeks more to seeing Malcolm, and i still havent dug out Gordon's baby clothes for washing yet. Ok, i blame hubby for that. All his stuff are blocking the cupboard where the clothes are kept and i'm so not moving any heavy boxes around. If he doesnt get round to moving them soon, i'll just go buy new ones. That'll come out of his pocket, not mine.
I had another bad day of contraction yesterday evening. No, not Braxton Hicks. I think i used some abdominal muscles and pulled on a nerve when i hauled a wet and naked Gordon back to the bedroom when he ran out of the bathroom straight from the tub. These few days, i've been showing MIL how best to feed and care for Gordon and what his preferences are.
Malcolm weighs approximately 2.2kgs now and is expected to be around 2.7kgs at birth. He's having World Cup fever everyday and is kicking all the time. Myself, some occasional heartburn. Apart from that, everything's fine. Will update more later. Gordon wants to eat now.

Curious hor...last time when you phaktoring with your loukong, you got knit vest for him anot? You know...like those lovey-dovey movies? Tell la. BTW, so cute vest and waiting with bated breath for the great arrival.
simmie - it only takes a needle or two and a nice pattern to get u started. go, go , go.... go get some nice yarn...
zara's mama - fast eh. my crocheting ok lah. the vest isnt very warm for our weather. knitted one will be warmer as the holes are smaller. but then hor, like i said earlier depends on the yarn used. if i want it warm, then i'll switch to baby merino wool.
5xmom - no leh, i did not knit vest for him. i knitted a tee for him. he was rather fat then and used so many balls of yarn.... niamah.

Didn't knit for years, can't even remember how. But it's surely nice to have something like that for baby.

mylittlechampion - yes, wan-luin-pai mah. i'll knit more, lol
shoppingmum - go on, get some yarn and start knitting something for both Julian and Isabelle. they're sure gonna love showing it off to their friends next time when they grow up.
