Guess where i found my specs this morning
I felt hungry and went out with hubby and Gordon to a nearby coffeeshop for supper last night at 9.30pm. Found a nice table and decided to invite Helen along. Whilst i waited, i ordered a teapot of heong-pin (some kinda chinese tea). That silai, did not return my sms. So, i thought maybe she was either having sex then or watching CSI on Astro. Wrong. She left her handphone inside her car. Returned my sms only at 11.48pm, lol.
I went to bed early also last night but cant seem to fall asleep. So, i blame the tea for keeping me in a zombied state all night long. The phone rang at 8am. It was my customer who bought a Colema Therapy Unit from me the other day. Her plumber would be over to do the piping and informed us to be there later to commission the unit. Gordon woke up about 10 minutes later and turned the tv on to watch Sesame Street. I let him entertain himself whilst i continued sleeping half awake until 10am.
Since i informed MIL that hubby will be needing the car at 9am when i went out to pee at about 5am or so, i found that she bought Gordon and i breakfast. It's two char-siew-pau for Gordon and two lormaikai for me from Foh San Dim Sum Restaurant. Jealous or not, people. Obviously, i shared one lormaikai with hubby, how to eat two woh? LB.... if only you were here....
Me, still being in a very blur state, was on the phone for most of the time as my customer kept calling to ask me about the installation process, blah, blah, blah. I was multitasking on the other hand. When i put down the phone, i realised that my specs were nowhere to be seen. Diu lorrrr. Dont tell me Gordon's laid his hands on it. It's the 4th pair already, and the only pair available. Rimless and ULTRA FRAGILE, cos i salvaged the glasses when Gordon broke the 3rd pair and turned it rimless to save cost. The broken frame was not replaceable then, only piece.
So, there i was, searching high and low, mumbling and grumbling to myself like a psycho and turning things around very carefully in case my specs' somewhere and i know i'd curse myself for breaking it in the midst of searching for it. Finally decided to look for it with my contacts on. I wasnt keen on wearing contacts at home as my eyes were a tad dry from lack of sleep. Now, no choice lah. Even with my contacts on, i only managed to find it about 15minutes later..... of all places.
You wouldnt believe where i found it. It's caught at the end of Gordon's curls at the back of his head. It was so light that even Gordon did not feel it there. I have no idea how it got there in the first place. Thank god...... it's intact. No longer sleepy already after that.

next time use Lam Ah Chan type of glasses, sure very easy to find one.. why go & use the titanium glasses.. so light, drop also won't realise.
Btw, you drink Chinese tea ah? Not afraid of caffeinne consumption? I try to refrain from tea and coffee totally.. so difficult, esp tea, since I like it a lot.
Zara's mama - rimless sure light what. i cant even feel it on my face myself.
