How do you remember all the colors of the rainbow?
Well, i got this from here.
It says:
Michael Jackson Killed Hannah-Barbara In Uruguay : that's how I was taught to remember the colors of the rainbow - it's a mnemonic where the first letter of each word corresponds to a color in Malay.
M - merah = red
J - jingga = orange
K - kuning = yellow
H - hijau = green
B - biru = blue
I - indigo
U - ungu = violet
Well, I have an English version too.
But then, hor, dont tell me you werent warned. It's 18SX. And it goes like this:
V - Virginity
I - Is
B - Bad
G - Get
Y - Your
O - Ownself
R - Raped

LMAO! your version is definitely... errr... different! teehee! It's amazing what quite offensive mnemonics they taught in schools earlier on, eh?
On a similar note - this time for Chemistry - there was a list of ions, some sort of ranking / reactivity order or something, that needed to be memorised... and my brother taught me what *his* teacher taught to help:
"kalau nak kahwin mesti ada zakar besar"
... seeing as this was only a partial list, me and my friends added to it "... so Paul can have a anak" in order to have the full list. Nice, eh? :-)
