Same old shitty lines story

I live in a country who's very proud of its technological progress. It offers MSC status to bigshot companies, we have 3.5g, 4g, super fast xxMb broadband connection, WiMax etc. But each time during festive seasons, we get the same shitty lines and traffic is down to a crawl that's tantamount to a funeral procession, slow and depressing. I've been trying to upload video files online for the past three nights in vain. Nothing is wrong with my modem nor router, k. Changing to a Linksys router wont turn the situation around until our ISPs improves on their service we are paying them for. Till the lines improves, there's nothing much i can do except to get drunk each night so that i can stop thinking of my uploads.... knnmcb.
