Why i bought a Sony LCD TV
My friend got to know that i bought a new LCD TV recently and dropped by to take a look at it. She was surprised that i bought a Sony over other brands. I told her i've had three Sony TVs over the years and so far, they lasted through the years without giving me much problem. I bought this new Sony LCD TV as i wanted to play the Wii on it. The old Sony CRT is now in the guest room. I have no intention of giving it away or what. I know other brands are selling a couple of hundred bucks cheaper. But as far as i'm concerned, i go for quality over low prices.
World renowned brands spend a lot of money each year to improve their products. Their Advertising Agency will ensure that the brand will remain in consumers minds all the time. My neighbor bought a Korean brand sometime back. But in less than two months, she had to claim warranty for it. No, i'm not going to name the brand here. Maybe she's just unlucky to have bought a faulty set. But she told me she should have bought a more reliable brand after seeing mine. Anyway, as consumers, its really not an easy task to buy anything these days. We just have to buy the best that we can afford.
