Malcolm's scratched face

I walked off for a short and came back to this. According to hubby, a toddler about Malcolm's age, but bigger in size, tried to bully him and scratched his face in the process. If the child's father didnt intervene, it could have been a lot worse. Just wonder why hubby didnt see that happen and stop it in time.

Back home, i cleaned his face with a warm damp cloth, making sure to be extra gentle around the wounded area. Then, applied some Emu Oil to the affected area. The welt has subsided and the fine healing oil will protect it. Glad he didnt make a fuss about it. Just hope the scratches heal soon. My heart aches each time i see his face.
