Hubby bought me a phone two months back i think. Apart from the color, i like everything about it. I cant live without a phone, i'd go crazy if i were to lose it. If you were to ask me what i use my phone for apart from the usual chat and sms, well.... i use it like a computer. In fact , it does much more than my computer can. Can beat it anytime, lol. Well, the one thing my computer cant do is take pictures, unless you say with the attached webcam, of course. But gimme a break. I meant when i'm on the go.
For one, i snap pictures and take videos with it. Use it to read and reply emails on the go. To me, having a phone with a built-in camera is the ultimate blogger's tool. It's so easy to snap pics, and compose a post, then sent it straight to my blogs with the touch of a few buttons. Another this is i've downloaded the Gmail application tomy phone so that it makes managing more than 5 gmail accounts less of a hassle. Of course, i have all my gmail emails forwarded to a single account for easy reference, but nothing neats having a dedication application for that.
Accept it. Time has changed, Technology has evolved. Another thing i cant live without is Instant Messaging. With a cellphone, i dont have to be stuck at my chair so that i can reply to my never-ending "uh-ohs" the moment they arrive. I dont think anyone would want to lug around a notebook so that they stay be connected, right. That's 2kg of metal and chips we're talking about here. With a cell phone i can do wayyyy much more.
But, technology and convenience all comes with a hefty pricetag. A multi-tasking smartphone is already a costly gadget to buy. What about data plans. Do you know that it costs a bomb to upload a single 20seconds video to youtube? A few full-res pics can burn a big hole in your pocket if you hit the send button a few times a day.
