Credit counseling

My MIL came back into the house after chatting with our neighbour. She asked my hubby why we're getting so many credit card bills and whether are we in debt or not. Choi... choi... choi..... of course not, we told her. She was concerned because our neighbour just got the news that her husband filed for bankruptcy due to overspending with his credit cards. He has over 10 credit cards.

My neighbour's husband like a lavish lifestyle. I can always hear him brag about where he's gone for dinner, where he takes his staff for holidays, buys diamonds for his wife, blah, blah, blah.... very very boring. That's why everytime we see him walking out the front porch, we'll choose to wait till he leaves, then only will we walk out to our car. Cant bear to stand there listening to him brag.

So now, it serves him right also. No wonder we see so many bank credit officers coming by to his house. MIL told us they even came over to enquire his whereabouts once. We told her what we get are not bills, but those monthly brochure asking us to buy items from them, but we assure her we never do that as those are very expensive as they offer monthly repayment scheme whereby the interests are lumped into the repayment amount.

I think what my neighbour needs now most is Credit Counseling. Consumer Education Services also known as MyCesi helps people with Credit Card and Debt Problems. They offer all kinds of Education as well as Debt Management Programs. They have certified counselors who have helped thousands of clients break the cycle of debt and take control of their finances. They're always ready to help you. Give them a call if you want financial freedom. This could be the most important call you ever make.
