Agile Messenger - Take your YM, MSN, AOL, ICQ & GTalk with you!!!
This is strictly for handphone and IM junkies like me. Given the choice, i'd rather have my handphone with me at all times. I do a billion and one thing with my phone. Like what, oh well... the usual calls, SMS, emails, read feeds, listen to the radio and songs, take random pics, browse, check this check that, watch porn movies, play games, moblogging, Flickring, IMs, Twittering..... yadda, yadda, yadda.
So, i just want to tell you about an application that allows you to take your Yahoo Messenger, MSN (I'm on these 2), Google Talk (seldom), AOL, ICQ (these second last two still got people use wan meh??) and XMPP ( <-- wazzit?? never heard b4??) with you wherever you go. Tho i've not seen the dunno wat XXMP on the application's interface when i sign in also. I've been using it for quite a while and i can say it's GOOD!! You like?? You want??
Now go check out Agile Messenger. They offer a 7 day trial period after which you'll have to buy or subscribe to the service. It costs USD11.95 for a quarterly license, or you can pay a one time USD44.95 permanent license. Payment method is either by credit card using 2CO or Paypal.... this one of cos iLike. The only thing i dont like about it is that i cannot set my online status to mobile mode :(
You must have GPRS or 3G enabled in order for Agile Messenger to work. It does has a real-time traffic checker built-in to let you know how much data has been transferred so that you can keep track of your usage. Check with your service provider for data charges as they vary from operator to operator. I'm on unlimited usage, so i 'm not bothered as to how much much i use cos i'm connected 24/7. But i can say it's relatively low.
So, go on, try it. Stay in touch and chat non-stop till you drop, till your phone battery runs out, lol. It's also a good way to spend all those funds in Paypal mah.
