Family time

Hubby and i was invited to a friend's house for a card game this evening. At first, i thought i wont get to go along as i need to take care of my two kids. But then, i guess i got lucky as my mother-in-law volunteered to help look after them. I'd better not ask why, in case she changes her mind. It's not everyday that she does things like this for me.

By the time we arrived at our friend's house, most of the guests were already there. And there, right smack in the middle of his living hall, i saw a very beautiful poker table, complete with everything you will ever need for a great night's fun. I dont know how to play poker, but hubby does. I asked the host and he told me he bought it from executivegamingmonthly.com.

So, i sat behind him the whole night as the men played. I loved watching an ongoing poker session. I can almost feel the tension in the air. Even though we're not really gambling, everyone is very serious the whole time. You dont call them poker-face for nothing. I think i'd like to buy one of those home game packages so that we can play at home. We really had so much fun just now. What a great way to spend quality time with family members on a rainy evening.
