Valentine's Day Roses
Valentine's Day should be renamed to Florist's Day, lol. It's one of those days where the price of roses, especially Red Roses cost a bomb. My neighbour, a florist, is having ultra brisk business today as usual. I bet she must be making tons of money as she started stocking roses a week earlier in anticipation of Valentine's Day.
My favourite flower is Yellow Roses. Hubby will never make the mistake of sending me in any other color except yellow. And he always sends me a dozen without fail each year; except this year. I wanted tulips for a change, but there are no tulips where i live. It's okay. As long as he remembers to give me a hug and kiss, i love him just the same.
There was once where he forgotten and bought me Red ones. Realised his mistake and went out, scoured the whole town to put together another bouquet of Yellow Roses for me, lol. This last-minute feat is not easy, you know. Romantic, huh. So, i guess if anyone were to send roses during Valentine's Day, your girlfriend or wife will be sure to love it. So, go ahead. Send her a dozen, or even better.... 100 RED ROSES!!!
