Link popularity

I'm trying to increase my blog's link popularity. Understanding Google's algorithm is not easy, and it's actually rather complex. But of course, i'll definitely concentrate on Google when i optimise my webite for the search engines when building link popularity.

Then there's the argument that having incoming links from other blog's sidebars doesnt help much with our page rank. What's important are having them linked from within a post that matters. Not to mention the quality of the blog the link's coming from. So much to learn, so much to do. But, it's worth it.
