Wrought iron designs
During my days as an interior designer, the "Zen" theme was the "in" thing then. Everything minimalistic was the rage. So "me". It was nice though, not much designing work involved. Only careful selection of materials to bring the whole place together.
Good contractors with fine workmanship are hard to come by. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to workmanship. I'm at the site all the time to keep an eye on things and to make fast decisions should there be problems.
I used a lot of stainless steel for my designs. I prefer them in hairline finish. But sad to say, the majority of our local guys cannot deliver the finishing that i want. Another all-time favourite of mine is Wrought Iron. I love the curvy feel wrought iron lends to my designs. I use them for almost every project of mine. It's like a signature touch to my projects.
Most of my clients have never had wrought iron items before. So, most of them are usually delighted with the end results. Apart from the commonly requested for applications like for window or door grilles and main gates, they look especially sensual when used as accessories like candle holders and wall hangings. Gives the house a more "homey" feel.

That must have been during the Adam Ant, Spandau Ballet, Boy George era...
lb - they look very elegant in any setting IF not overdone. I prefer them as accessories rather than gates or grilles.
