Wednesday

The worst is not over yet, believe you me. Once the pc was back home and everything plugged in, happily, i sat down to begin my work. Then, niamahfulat.... i cannot read all my downloaded emails from my Outlook Expresss, WTF!!!??? Must be something to do with the new AVG anti-virus which they installed for me to replace the expired Norton. Luckily, all my tmnet mailbox does is receive forwarded emails from all my gmail accounts. So, at least this gave me the opprtunity to tryout Thunderbird. It's fine now.

Something's also wrong with my IE. Cant seem to be able to logoff from some sites. Home button also doesnt work. All i can do is close the damn browser and open up a new one in order to login to the same site using a different username. Mah9fan or not, diuuu. And i've to do that about 5 to 6 times everyday. Why dont i use Firefox, hoh? Because these sites wont load correctly using Firefox. Moreover, hubby uses IE so that he doesnt screw up my Firefox settings and close my tabs without asking.

More pc woes. Internet connection seem to hang and a pop-up keeps telling me got dunno what error lah. Restart? DNMCH, my pc does more than restart since it got back. It'll simply power off on its own; especially when i try to access some files from my new drive. And the worst part is that i have to press the power switch like 20 times before the damn pc restarts agains. Well, at least it can still start up.

What to do, didnt go online but watch TVB dramas all night long loh. Hubby called from the Departure Hall before he boarded his flight. Asked me to email a file over to his partner, then call him up yadda, yadda, yadda. I did that, and T-H-E-N.......... my Nokia went dead... D-E-A-D!!! WHAT THE FUCK is happening? Did someone put a curse on me, knnccb.

All my phone can do once restarted is dial out/receive calls, sms out and access phonebook. Apart from that, Z-E-R-O.... Z-I-L-C-H..... N-O-T-H-I-N-G.... I had to spend most of the night till bout 4am writing out every single phonebook entry, and i have hundreds of them, H-U-N-D-R-E-D-S!!!!!!!

Thursday

Called my friend up first thing in the morning noon, to get the formatting code for my Nokia. Then called the damn pc shop and ask for a tech to come over to my place to check the damn knn pc. Was told that i called too late, all techs are out already and can only go over to my house the following day.

When i went out of my room to brush my teeth, the painter MIL hired chided me by saying; "Wah, you just got up ah? People all about to have their second meal of the day loh." Niamah, wtf, diuuuuuu..... I ignored him. After attending to my kids, nothing else to do, formatted my stupid phone. And went about copying contacts from my SIM card and keying in phonebook entries back to my phone, configuration and all... siennnn. At least it still works. Spent the rest of the day pondering which phone to buy.

The kitchen is in chaos, the knn painter has pwned it. No cooking today.

Friday

The stupid painter's still around today and said the same thing when he saw me entered the kitchen. I gave him a large piece of my organic mind and he shut up for good. Dare not even whistle or humm anymore.

When the tech finally turned up, he found that the casing's power supply conking out. Great, i'm so damn9 happy. Asked him to leave his in place and take mine back to the shop for warranty claim. Aiyo, lucky for me this time; warranty period expiring on 5th Nov... phewwww. They can very well take their own sweet time. He left after patching up some files and till now, my pc's not shutting down on its own.... choi, choi, choi, touchwood...
