Oat as an energising food
When you're so busy and hardly have time to eat, try Oats. Organic or non-organic also nevermind. No many are so organically-inclined like me mah.
Oats are low on the glycaemic index, as they have lots of fibre, which means that your body gets a steady stream of energy as carbohydrates gradually flow into your bloodstream. Oats also contain the energising and stress-lowering B vitamin family, which helps transform carbs into useable energy. For more flavour, add some fruits and nuts to your oats. Use honey as a natural sweetener.
Other lower glycaemic carbohydrates to choose are high-fibre breakfast cereals, vegetables, whole-grain breads and brown rice.
