And off to Piaomei-land he goes

10...

Hubby just left for KL. So, i'll have bout 10 days to myself and the kids. Now, what am i supposed to do with the driver away. At most, i'll take the kids over to mom's house. With the holidays around, there's no shortage of babysitters aka cousins at mom's place.

Gordon loves going over there. He can ransack the fridge, run up and down the staircase, watch his cousins play computer games, pour out boxes and boxes of toys all over the floor, run wild in the huge garden, pluck vegetables from the plot.... wow, the possibilities are simply endless. I'm contemplating not typing this post and packing him off this very instant, lol.

But, cannot leh. I just put Malcolm down for his nap. He had his 3rd month polio drop and dunno what triple jab yesterday evening. My baby, hoh, never complained once since his jab. Only gave out a small cry when the needle was inserted. I held him close to me and assured him everything will be okay and he seems to understand and even gave me a smile, how sweet of him.

I gave him his paracetamol upon reaching home and was told to give it to him every 4 hours. Well, i didnt succeed the second time. He spat every single drop out. So, i didnt persist. He's fine till now, no fever nothing. So, i guess maybe breastfed babies fare better as compared to formula-fed ones as a far as reaction to the jabs are concerned? Yes? No? Both of mine did.

Yes, they do. They fare better and they bounce back from illness faster too. So well done you.

Last time, when I bring my girls for the jab, it was more stressful for me than for them. When the needle went it, they did not cry but I did. See? Hopeless or not?

?? Thot paracetomal only administered IF child gets fever. But i think most of time, there isn't any side effects.

But no cry is good sign.

I didn't breastfeed my baby and she was fine for all her jabs. No fever or fuss. I think it's up to individual.

I think breastfed babies are stronger.

Btw, why did you give Malcom Paracetamol when he doesn't have fever? Just as precaution? I never did give Zara any after her jab, unless she got a fever.

And why can't you go to your mum's plc leh?
