All screwed up

Part 1

Just when i was back in the mood to blog again, my hard drive conked out last Saturday. I dont understand why everytime my pc conks out, it has to be a weekend or public holiday. During those few pc-less days, i was using my damn9 old Fujitsu Lifebook, which i have to like fix a zillion peripherals to it before i can get online. Well, i'd better not complain much as it's the ONLY notebook left ever since Gordon poured water over my other notebook last year.

Many things wouldnt load properly as it still ran on Windows 98 and IE was also dunno what version lah. What Firefox???? Dont have. And dial-up is really no fun at all after broadband. And you know what, that thing only has about 5Gb in its entirety, huh??!! Enough for what nowadays?

It's my storage drive that died. Well, at least i managed to salvage the most important things in there, pics, pics, pics and more pics of my kids; not to mentions lots of videos, and some work related office documents. If not, i'll have to stuff both Malcolm and Gordon back into me and re-do the whole birthing process again. The rest, mainly downloaded porn movies applications, and dunno what else unfiled items in there, were gone, kaput, boh-liao, bye-bye.

I sent it back to the shop on Monday morning with specific instructions to:

1) "try" and backup the conked out drive if possible, if not, install new one
2) vacuum/clean/do whatever necessary to the fan as it's dirty and getting pretty noisy
3) fix usb ports card that came off at the bottom of the pc's front panel
4) update or patch windows/anti-virus/whatever that they've installed for me when i bought it

When i went to collect my pc on Tuesday noon, i found that the pc's no where to be seen and nobody seems to know where it is, and when they finally brought it down, the usb ports were still unfixed. So i asked:

Me: How come this thing here still loose one?

Girl: Ohh, it's liddat one. Cannot fix one, came with the casing.

Me: So, just leave it loose liddat? Very mah-fan when i want to use then..

Girl: You go home use superglue and stick it back loh....

Me: *damn blardy tulan already by now* Ohh, easy lah. Change new casing. I claim warranty then....

Girl: Errr... wait ah...*picks up the phone and call dunno where*

Soon, a bored-looking technician scuttles down from upstairs, and takes the pc to the back of the office for fixing. I followed.

Me: Wah, why inside still so dirty? Never clean for me?

Him: You use so long already, sure dirty lah..

Me: That's why i left intructions for it to be cleaned. Aaah, Ah K (the boss) just walked in. Eh, nevermind, i go ask him to do it for me then? *walks out*

Him: *bolted upstairs with the pc lightning fast*

At the payment counter:

Me: How much is my bill?

Girl: Wait aahh... *tinkles with the pc, answers the phone lah....*

Meanwhile, the tech walks down with my pc. I asked him to send it out to my car. Hubby's outside waiting with the kids.

Me: Eh, hello, how long more do i have to stand here? *Me, face all black by now, on the verge of exploding already. Short of screaming only...)

She: Errr... Rm235.

Me: HAAHH!!??? Rm235 for one 80Gb drive? Was told 120Gb cost Rm235 and 80Gb less than Rm200, wtf am i doing installing the 80Gb drive for the price of the 120Gb, you tell me? Why dont you replace the 80Gb drive with the 120Gb one and bill me the price of the 80Gb instead? Nevermind, take your time, i gotta go. Call me when you figured it out.

Girl: Errr, Rm185....

I paid and went out to the car. Saw that hubby's face all black also...

Me: What happened? Kids kik-chan-lei-ah (got on your nerves)

Hubby: That $%^&(*(,@, told him to throw the cereal box to the backseat, and put the cpu on the front seat. That #$%^&*(), never listen to instructions, put the cpu on top of the cereal box. Slammed the door and hit the cpu, whole thing crashed down from the seat. Sei-sei-hei, did what i told him earlier, $%^&*()$%^

You say i tulan or not.......
