"NAH.... Seeee..... my letter's opened"

Those were the words that hubby uttered yesterday as he entered the house. Type of letter is of no concern. The most important thing is that it is opened..... no tear to the flap whatsoever. That was what IBS#1 accused me of. That only an adult could have opened it in such a manner.

MIL was sitting in the living hall when we entered the house. So, hubby make it known to her (MIL) that letters can be lying around in an opened state just like that. If that's the case, should he go over to IBS#1's house and make a drama out of it or not, since she can bark like a mad dog over her opened letter. And accusing me of that without proof also.

MIL sat there and retorted that she was the one who brought the letter in. Thinking we're about to accuse her precious daughter. Hubby pointed out to her once again that letters can arrive opened. The glue on the flap just may not stick properly. In other words, he's telling his mom not to side someone blindly.

And in the same evening, he also told the same thing to his dad. FIL kept his mouth shut this time. Now he knows that i've been wronged for no apparent reason and that he'd been a lousy arbitraitor. As for me, i couldnt care less. IBS#1 was over a few times, but i ignored her. No Episode 2 from her also, how boringggggggg.......

Later, as i was busy attending to Malcolm, MIL suddenly stuck her head into my room and asked me whether i want to eat "Double-boiled Tong-Guai Chicken with Dates" or not. That's her way of admitting her fault. It's not an apology.... well, not that i want one also lah. As a good DIL, i dont expect my in-laws to apologise openly to me. As long as the truth is out and justice is served, i'm happy.

And yes..... the soup's DELICIOUS!!!!!
