Wonder why they still dont learn from all this..... damn!

I just finished reading The Star paper online. Another victim. I'm still amazed as to why people still cling on to their bags as it's snatched away by snatch-thieves. Why risk your life and safety whilst at it? Let go of it. It's really not worth it. I understand that whatever you may have inside that bag may be irreplaceable. So's your life, man. Learn from it.

Petty thieves are getting bolder and more daring by the day. Most of them are "high" when they are committing crimes. They'd kill for anything. Remember the 18 yr old TAR college kid who got killed recently. Happens to be my friend's customer's kid whom she'd known since he was about 3. He did not deserve to die that way. Too young.... just like that, and for nothing at all..... sigh.....

Ever since hubby fell victim to it when he was down in KL some time back, i've always been paranoid whenever someone comes close to me. I hardly ever use a bag nowadays. No gold jewellery also. Only carry my IC, handphone, credit card and some cash in my pocket whenever i'm out. Diapers and stuffs in a separate crocheted see-thru bag. Damn scared.

My dear, my aunt's crouchet bag also get snatched by thieves on motorbike when she's walking by the road in Penang. So, I think better off without bags.

I think they'll have problems trying to snatch away my very big bag with a heavy Macbook in it... hehehe! they just might lose balance! but yea, always be wary of your surroundings...

Better go colour photocopy your MyKad and laminate it for RM 2 only also. You don't want to queue long long to replace one, do you?

ah pek did a similar post not long ago.

Yeah, they're getting bolder by the day. Whatever what we do, they always figure some way to take advantage of otherpeople. It's not just money and purse they take anymore. Handphone, laptop, lighters...anything left alone etc. Just turn away for a moment and next thing you know, it's gone. Sigh. Terrible!
