All the din over a few bottles of milk.... what next!!! DNMCB
The milkman brings milk over for IBS#3 every Friday cos he doesnt deliver it to where she stays. So, every Friday, her dad/mom will take the milk in for her and put it inside the fridge. I no longer take it in for her anymore. They can very well go bad in the hot sun for all i care. Arent i just plain rotten....
Why, hoh.... you may ask. How can Samm do this? Take milk in only mah, how difficult can it be? Yes, i used to do that, not once, but whenever i hear the milkman coming when her parents were out. Because, there was once when i took her milk in for her (her parents were out) and the milkman handed me the bill asking for his money as it was month end. So, me, being the good SIL, paid for her. Not much lah, about Rm50 or so only. Which i also informed my MIL about it and asked her to collect it back for me should i be out when she comes over. MIL's the one who usually pays for her first, her daughter mah.
IBS#3 either comes by after work on the same day to collect her milk back home or she'll drop by on Sunday evenings. So, when i saw her coming over, i told her i've paid for her already and asked her to reimburse me. She took one look at the bill and asked me, "Why so much? Something must be wrong".
I told her, i dont know, since i'm not the one who drinks it and all disputes over the bill are to be directed to the milkman and not me. She then say why i so kaypoh and go pay for her.... now paid for already, how to dispute... blah, blah, blah. And reluctantly slaps the money down onto the table with a black face and went home. WTF!!! See, this is the kind of IBS that i have, niamah... Would you want to be nice and take her milk in for her anymore after this?
Milk takes up a lot of real estate in the fridge. Friday's milk (expired on the 9th) is still inside the fridge till this morning. I've informed her mom about it and asked her to remind her darling daughter#3 to come and take it back a few days back. Obviously, advise not heeded. So, this morning, hubby saw it and grumbled about it to his dad. And that took place in the kitchen, right next to my bed and woke me up.
His dad is the argumentative type and anything can just spark a debate on. Cannot lose one, even when he's in the wrong. Insisted that the milk be left rotting in the fridge because he called the daughter and she said later lah, put it inside the freezer first.... Hubby, tulan already, went and poured the milk away. Afraid that his sis will give it to her kids. His dad, all the while saying, let her kids drink it lah, let them fall sick lah, then she'll know...... and the debate continues.
Hubby left him alone to argue with himself in the kitchen whilst he walked back inside the room. I kept quiet, got up and went about my own business as usual. Ahhhhhhh, it's the dawn of yet another glorious day........... tra la la.......

Why doesnt she just buy on demand, whenever she needs it? If there is expired milk in the fridge, doesn't it say something? she doesnt need the regular delivery lah...
