I found it!! I found it!! AT LONG LAST!!!!

I've been searching for this musical toy for months. Sometimes, my things are so well kept that i myself have a hard time locating them. I was going through some knitting websites when it hit me. I havent looked inside my knitting boxes yet. But then hoh, they are at the furthest end underneath my bed.... blehhh.

Voice-activated musical box with lights. It's actually white in color.
My amber reading lamp turned it yellowish.

With my tummy half the size of a basketball now, crawling all the way down in there doesnt seem appealing to me at all. But, if i dont do the crawling, who will. Moreover, i wanted to checkout my unused yarn inventory to see what i can knit out of them. Gotta finish them up before i buy new ones, if not, i'll just keep on accumulating tons of oddballs.

So, i finally managed to pullout the box where my knitting bag was kept and BINGO!!!! There it was. Dont ask.... I simply have NO IDEA why it's there of all places. And the batteries are not drained off yet. Can still play albeit somewhat out of tune. I bought this when i had Gordon back in 2003. One item off my list of "must-buys", yesss.

I've been having some fun playing with Malcolm lately. I'll just turn on the musical toy and place it near my tummy where his head is. And wow.... Malcolm responds beautifully to the lullabies with lots of kicks and turns. I did this to Gordon too when i was still carrying him and i get the same response from him.

Hubby has a lot of cigarette lighters that comes with built-in torchlight from his beer-drinking sessions with friends. They are all out of gas already but the torchlight still works. So, i turn off the bedroom lights and shine the torchlight into my tummy. My, my.... light stimulation appeals more to Malcolm i guess. His kicks and turns are even stronger when compared to sound stimulation.

I've never done light stimulation with Gordon before. It never crossed my mind then. Malcolm's been having lots of hiccups these few weeks. Must be drinking too much amniotic fluid and getting high inside. I tried putting Gordon's hands to my tummy to let him feel Malcolm's movements, but my lil boy keeps running away. I think he's shy and feels funny with that gesture. He doesnt like me to expose my tummy and will want to yank my t-shirt down again whenever i pull it up.

Gordon will be nearly 3yrs old by the time Malcolm's due. Maybe i'll host a party for the both of them together. One celebrating his fullmoon, and the other, his birthday. That'll be fun. Gordon will most likely think that Malcolm is a toy instead of his lil brother. Hopefully, by then, he'll understand more about what's happening around him and grow to love Malcolm. Oh, well...I still have about 88 days to go. Lots of time to prepare Gordon for Malcolm's arrival.
