I'm beginning to dread washing my hair. Not very much the actual washing part, but it's the 1/2hr plus blowjob thereafter that i dread. Ever since i started keeping it long again, i've had it straight. And keeping it straight takes lots of effort. Especially when one has naturally curly hair and havent had time to get it straightened in a while to help with the regrowth stage.
I've to stand in front of the mirror and run my brush continuosly through my locks before it dries naturally. The room must be cold and the hair-dryer at its hottest. Dont ever think that it's easy. It takes years of practice to get it right. I dont use those tiny and lightweight hairdryers to get the job done, you know. It's those heavyweight salon versions.
At the salon, it's easy because the hairdressers are standing. On my own, I've to hold it up high and blow from the roots all the way down to the ends, bit by bit, starting from the bottom and working my way up to my crown. You say sien or not???? And i get all hot and flustered after blow drying it. And damn tired also.
So, yesterday, after my routine hairwash, i ran some of hubby's hairgel all over my hair for control and scrunched them up. I dried my hair by using warm air and at low powered fan speed. Wow, for once, i've never felt so good. In all, the whole process took less than 10 minutes to get done and with hairband in place also.
And this morning, hubby gave me a funny look and asked me whether did i perm my hair and commented that it looks good and i look younger and prettier also. Wah.... song sei lorrr. For once, he noticed me for a change. And when i got home, i stared at myself in the mirror and i agree that i indeed do look much better and fresher now than a day before.
Wah, like that ah.... if i go put some ici on my face, dunno what will happen leh?? If i no longer have to perform blowjob on myself anymore, then i'll have more time to give it to someone else lorr, hoh. I'll consider that.... hahahaha. From now on, I can just let my hair grow and grow and grow without much fuss. Time to do more shopping, yessss!!!!

I think many ppl spent too much time on their hair because ppl like to go against nature, Straight hair girls go to perm hair and curly haired ones want to have straight hair!! Compromise must be reached at some point!! Better still, make the best out of what nature had given you.LOL

I had a good friend who had hair to her waist. Waiting for her to get ready takes forever. Because her hair is thick, she uses baby oil. I can't use that cos it's too oily for me. Believe it or not, my friend also uses Johnson's Baby Lotion. I tried it and it worked for me especially when I need to detangle and dry my hair in a hurry. Put some on your hands, rub both hands and run it through your hair. It's not too oily or too wet. I don't suggest using any old kind of lotion or you might end up causing more damage. I tried cocoa butter (the Bodyshop ones) on my hair....wahhhh.....too oily!!!!
I can see why my best friend was overjoyed ever since hair rebonding became available. She has naturally wavy hair and constantly rebonding it. It must be so tedious having to blow dry to straighten natural curls after every hair wash :(
Solution? Cut short loh.
I used to have long hair too.. But when I was pregnant, cut it short. Too hot.
Now still short, because with a kid around, you want to do things quick, and having long hair will not allow you to bath and attend to her. You have to blow it dry, make sure it's presentable. With short hair, not much maintenance.
