It's way past 48hrs since i reported my dilemma to TmNut's Helpline. I called again at 3pm justnow and was greeted by a malay girl who assured me that my plight will be looked into as soon as possible peppered with lots of "i understand" and "nevermind" on almost every sentence.
My guess is that they must be getting lots of flak from disgruntled customers facing technical problems like i am now. But, listening to her endless "i understand"s and "nevermind"s makes me even more angry than assured that i flakked her a lil also. To which she apologised profusely with lots of the same.... haih.
So there you see, this is TmNut's Corporate Training. They really do understand why you are disgruntled and angry. Oh... nevermind...

I knew they are having their annual maintenance now, because I got this message from them: "TM Net Sdn Bhd would like to inform that it would be performing a maintenance exercise on its streamyx system from 2.00 a.m to 6.00 a.m. between 4th until 14th January 2006."
But I can still connect with the streamyx, and you seem a bit unlucky, their service is real suck!!!! The last time I called, they came to fix a week later.
Last time, after much calling, I just sent a complaint email to them, quite a harsh one. And the technician came the next day. Hee..
Hi Samm. Sorry about your streamyx. I had the same problem couple of weeks ago. The deal with the Streamyx service people is that they take 24 to 48 working hours to attend to your problem. In plain English that translates to 3 to 6 working days. Just sounds better when they tell you, "Between 24 to 48 working hours." They always say the word 'working' softer:-) So that you will be thinking, "Oh! 24 hours ah? Not bad leh." And thank them some more. Hahahahahaha..
I understand your frustration so well.. All I can say is, hold on to your hair! And don't curse so loud! And don't kick the computer! And throw a Turkey BBQ. My best hopes for a really speedy recovery!

What ever the reasons these TMnutters are giving, there are not good enough because there shouldn't be any in the first place!!
