Me, i did everything i can in my capacity to try to restore my dead connection. Me no expert in this, all greek.
Thank god, at least i did one right thing. That is i insisted on a built in dial-up modem in case Screamyx screws up when i bought this new pc. Sigh... havent used TmNet & Jaring for quite some time already. I logged on using Jaring this morning, but then, now cannot. Have to switch back to TmNet now. It's not too bad lah. I dont feel much of a difference also except for downloading emails and things.
How do i check my those what you call pings ah? Do i have to install anything? What speed are we actually getting? I doubt if it's 1Mb... all bluff. Over subscribed and damn slow lines more like it. I heard there a new one coming up and i'm still waiting for news. If it's good and speedy, I'll most prolly switch pronto.
Last weekend was filled with parties. I'll blog about some of the things i overheard there later. The thing that pissed me off during last Saturday's party was that when most of the kids (about a dozen of them) were happily playing with the toys, some old invited aunty (i found this out by asking the host's wife) of the host's wife decided to clear EVERYTHING away and kept them in a huge box under the staircase... DNMCH!! I felt like strangling her to death. Siao one, that woman. Blardy anti-climax.
Come on, all the kids were having so much fun. At least Gordon's not running up and down the staircase and joining in with the games. With all the toys gone, it's nightmare for me, niamah. I cant complain also, so, went out and sat with hubby's friends with a whiny Gordon. I bugged hubby to go home and we left half an hour later. I'm not staying around running after Gordon, no way.
And if you all think i can now have all the sex that i want with my broadband connection down, forget it. Mytoy hubby is away in KL........

Haiyo...google 'check broadband speed' and they are loads of free softwares to try to check your internet speed, upload, download, ping and whatnot. www.bandwithplace.com is a good one to try out.
