Cheap and effective way to clean indoor air

Ipoh API broke the 100pt mark. I went outside just now and the haze is indeed getting pretty bad. I can even smell it as soon as i walked out of the bedroom.

Thought i'd take Gordon out to 7-11 to buy some stuff. No way he's going anywhere now.

I just finished vacuuming the room a while ago. I'm going to give my room the vacuum cleaner+water treatment tomorrow.

Here's how it's done:

1) Attach the vacuum cleaner hose to the rear of the machine.

2) Fill a bucket half full with water and put it on a large towel/mat inside your room.

3) Insert the hose into the bucket of water and secure the hose with rafia string around the bucket so that it doesn't come loose when u turn on the vacuum cleaner.

4) Cover the bucket with a larger container to prevent water from splashing out.

5) Now, power turn the vacuum cleaner on for about 20 minutes intervals lest you burn the motor out.

6) Remember to change the water when it gets dirty. Depends on how powerful your vacuum cleaner is.

Meanwhile, i make do with what i have now.

Try it out people and give me feedback on this, k.

Sure beats having to breathe in the haze though.
